This is what happened the day I ran out of gas, or so I thought. Now I don't know if it really ran out of gas or just the bike messing up. When I left the house to get gas the bike felt like it just wanted to go fast. Maybe it was me. It was like taking a horse for a ride that hadn't been riden in a while. Like it was telling me let's just go (and not come back). This was, of course, after my granddaughter's birthday party with my 2 ex-husbands. The first is OK. We get along fine. The second showed up on his HD (low entry level sportster). Actually he was on his girlfriend's special edition and she was on his HD. Her bike was her deceased husband's and he rides it. She's a new rider. I had them park in the garage so no one would mess with the bikes and the kids could play basketball in the driveway and not wreck the bikes. It really pissed me off that he was letting the boys ride the bike. One just picked up his permit Friday and hasn't riden anything since he was a kid and that was a dirt bike, the other just started riding a few weeks ago. He was trying to be Mr. Cool. He asked our 18 yr old if she's done any wheelies on the street yet. He's such a jerk. Like I want her doing wheelies. He didn't even want her to get her bike permit and now he was going to let her ride the HD. She rides a 250 Yamaha. She couldn't hold up the bike. He was talking to my daughter's boyfriend about our bikes and saying his was better even though our's were probably faster. I said it depended what size he had and had he done anything to his. He didn't even know how many cc's he had (1200) and he had no clue when I started talking about rejetting, supertrapp, white spacer, etc. He's got a HD but he know's nothing about bikes. And he's dumped his 3 times that I know of. I had too many people that I didn't like in my house in one day and I'm still all wound up. My daughter's mother-in-law has the personality of a dead knat. My daughter's father-in-law and his mother are very nice. Her brother-in-law takes after his mother. And today after the mc course we have to go to my SO's ex-wife's for his daughter's graduation party. I'll need a drink after today! I told my SO not to touch anything in the house and then whisper to me about it. That's what my ex does when he comes over. We lived here together. It's not yours anymore. Don't touch it! Well, since this is not motorcycle related and I've probably made a few people angry (Peter don't press your luck) I guess I'll get on the Savage and calm down.
